RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)

Though there are certainly better Ultimate Digimon in Digimon Survive, Andromon is far from a bad option while Enlightenment Slabs remain rare. Its tough metal exterior makes it a defensive powerhouse, and with a little bit of training, it can hit pretty hard as well. Of course, before players can befriend Andromon, they’ll first need to figure out the best responses to its actions.

How to Befriend Andromon in Digimon Survive

By this point in the game, players should already be fairly familiar with the process for befriending Digimon in Digimon Survive. For those who aren’t though, they should begin by starting a conversation with Andromon using the Talk option. They’ll then need to respond to three of its action using one of four possible responses. Choosing the best response will fill two segments of the bar above the Digimon’s head, while the other answers will remove segments or add only one. If players have three or more filled at the end of the battle, they’ll be able to ask Andromon to become their friend.

The best responses to Andromon’s actions are actually quite similar to the ones for Numemom, which is perhaps a little surprising given how different the two Digimon are. Players will want to remain calm and quiet while in the presence of Andromon, though there’s nothing wrong with showing a muted interest. A lot of the options given to players are fairly similar, however, so they may just want to check the table below for the best possible Andromon responses.

Where to Find Andromon in Digimon Survive

Andromon is one of several Ultimate Digimon that start showing up from Part 6 onwards. Players will be able to encounter them in random encounters and Free Battles, though the first chance that they’ll get to befriend Andromon will be at the “Free Bat.” area in the second island area. It typically fights alongside Cyclonemon and one of its unevolved forms, Guardromon.

Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
