RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)

Though it is possible to get MarineDevimon through Digivolution, the rarity of Enlightenment Slabs makes befriending MarineDevimon a much better option for most Digimon Survive players. Before they can go down this route, however, they’ll first need to figure out the best responses to MarineDevimon’s questions and statements.

How to Befriend MarineDevimon in Digimon Survive

In order to befriend MarineDevimon or get a chance to ask it for an item, players will first need to start a conversation with it by selecting the Talk option in battle. They’ll then be faced with three questions or statements and given a few different options with which to respond. Choosing the best response will fill two segments of the bar above the Digimon’s head, whilst bad answers may cause it to drain. If the bar is at least half full at the end of the conversation, players will be able to ask the Digimon to become their friend.

Given its intimidating appearance and the fact that it is based loosely on the devil, it should come as no surprise to learn that MarineDevimon has a somewhat negative outlook on life. Players shouldn’t be afraid to call out its falsehoods, nor should they be concerned about standing up for themselves. For those still having trouble though, the best answers to MarineDevimon’s questions can be found in the table below.

Where to Find MarineDevimon in Digimon Survive

Though it can sometimes show up in random shadow encounters in Part 7, the first place that players can reliably run into MarineDevimon is at the Free Battle zone in the Library Area during Part 10. Considering they’ll start to encounter Mega Digimon not long after this point, most players probably won’t get too much use out of it in this form, though they will be able to Digivolve it by farming Ultimate Enlightenment Slabs from Digimon like MarineAngemon a little later on.

Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
