RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)
As with many of the other Digimon in Digimon Survive, players can also get Meramon by Digivolving other Digimon, though, given how rare evolution items are early on in the game, befriending Meramon is definitely the better option. For those having trouble answering Meramon’s questions and adding him to their team, this guide will definitely help.
How to Befriend Meramon in Digimon Survive
In order to befriend Meramon, players will first need to select the “Talk” option and then select him from the list of foes. From there, they’ll be faced with three questions or statements and will need to respond by choosing one of four possible options. The best Meramon responses will fill two segments of the bar above his head, with players needing to fill three or more before the end of the conversation in order to get a chance of befriending the Digimon.
As his appearance might suggest, Meramon has a somewhat fiery personality and often leans into this during conversations. He responds very well to flattery, but players shouldn’t allow themselves to be intimidated by his jibes as this will lead to them losing points. For anybody who’s still having trouble befriending him, the best responses to Meramon’s questions and statements can be found in the table below.
Where to Find Meramon in Digimon Survive
Meramon first shows up in Free Battle areas near the beginning of Part 3, which is around the same time that players can befriend Fangmon and Dokugumon. As a Data-attribute Digimon, players who select a lot of Harmony responses will have an easier time befriending Meramon. Players with a low success rate could opt to Digivolve Biyomon into Meramon, though there are arguably much better ways to use one’s evolution materials in Digimon Survive.
Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
