RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)

As with all of the other bad guys in Digimon Survive, players will eventually get the chance to obtain a Piedmon of their own, either through Digivolution or by befriending one in battle. The latter will require players to impress it in conversation though, which, due to its status as a Mega Digimon, is often a lot easier said than done.

How to Befriend Piedmon in Digimon Survive

By the point in the game when Piedmon becomes available, players will almost certainly have mastered the process of befriending Digimon in Digimon Survive. What they may not be expecting, however, is that like most of the game’s other Mega Digimon, the best responses to Piedmon’s questions and statements will often only fill a single segment of the bar above his head rather than the usual two, making accuracy a lot more important than usual.

As his role in the story makes clear, Piedmon is a Digimon that both values and respects power and so players should keep this in mind when they’re deciding how to respond to him. He’s also as dishonest as he is evil, so players would be foolish to trust a word that he says. For those still having trouble befriending Piedmon even knowing all of this, the best Piedmon responses can be found in the table below.

Where to Find Piedmon in Digimon Survive

Piedmon can first be encountered in random shadow battles in Part 11, though it’s usually a lot easier to find him in Free Battles during the following part. This ends up working out quite well in the end, as it provides players with a reliable source of Ultimate Enlightenment Slabs ahead of the final showdown with the master. He usually shows up with Monzaemon too, so players can grab themselves some Perfect Enlightenment Slabs at the same time if they still have Champion level Digimon left to evolve.

Digimon Survive is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
