RELATED: Every Digimon in Digimon Survive (& How to Befriend Them)

Unlike Takuma’s Partner Agumon, an Agumon befriended during a Free Battle can eventually evolve into a Spinomon, as too can some of its Digivolutions like Cyclonemon and SkullGreymon. For those who’d rather hang onto their Enlightenment Slabs though, befriending Spinomon in battle is the only other way to obtain the Dinosaur Digimon in Digimon Survive.

How to Befriend Spinomon in Digimon Survive

Spinomon will likely be one of the first Mega Digimon that most players encounter outside of main story events. Befriending a Mega Digimon can sometimes be a little different from befriending a Rookie, Champion, or Ultimate Digimon, as they don’t always have responses that will fill two segments of the bar above their heads. In these instances, players will often need to choose the perfect answer for all three questions, making it a little harder to befriend them.

Spinomon responds best to strong and assertive answers, while also being partial to a spot of flattery here and there. Players should be sure to acknowledge its strength and wisdom when given the chance to do so, though should also make it clear that they could beat the Digimon if it came down to it. For those still struggling to figure out the best Spinomon responses, the table below should be a huge help.

Where to Find Spinomon in Digimon Survive

Spinomon can first be encountered in a random shadow encounter while exploring the library in Part 10 of certain routes. It will then start to show up in Free Battles for the final two parts of the game, so players shouldn’t worry too much if they miss out on it the first time around. When asked for an item, Spinomon will hand over a Superpower Pineapple, which can be used to increase a Digimon’s Physical Attack stat.
