In the new Dirt 5 trailer, North and Baker are on-hand to talk about their roles in the game. Baker plays protagonist Alex “AJ” Janicek who will be a mentor to the player as they rise through the ranks, while North will be playing antagonist Bruno Durand, a sharp difference to good guy Nathan Drake who North played in the Uncharted games. Dirt 5 will also feature James Pumphrey and Nolan Sykes, the real-life hosts of car podcast Past Gas as they present an in-game podcast that talks about big moments in the game.

The trailer also confirms that Dirt 5 will be released on October 9 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. However, it won’t be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X until “later this year.” Dirt 5 is a launch title for the next-gen consoles but as the PS5 and Xbox Series X release dates haven’t been officially announced, Codemasters is also unable to say when the game will be available on them.

Those excited to win a load of races and feel like a legend while they’re doing it will surely be glad to see this trailer, but there’s a lot more to Dirt 5 not seen in this video. Codemasters has also confirmed that Dirt 5 will have a 120FPS mode on Xbox Series X, but hasn’t confirmed if it will be on PS5, and many will also have questions about the number of cars available in the game.

Dirt 5 will be released on October 9, 2020 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, later in 2020 on PS5 and Xbox Series X, and in 2021 on Stadia.
