That said, there are some items that do not fall into that category. A good example of this is the Conspicuous Book. Here is how Disney Dreamlight Valley players can find the Conspicuous Book and learn how they can use it.

How to Find the Conspicuous Book
In order to obtain the Conspicuous Book, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will need to complete The Secret Door. In order to get this quest, players will first need to be Friendship Level 10 with Mickey and complete all of his Friendship Quests. In this quest, players help Mickey find and open a mysterious door inside the castle.
At the end of the quest, players open the door and find what appears to be a storage room. Once the quest ends, players have permanent access to the storage room. Aside from all the items inside the chests, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can also find books on the ground. Most of them cannot be picked up, but there is one that can. This is where the Conspicuous Book can be found.
What is the Conspicuous Book Used For?
While it may seem like something that won’t be used until later, Disney Dreamlight Valley players do not need to wait long to use this book. Along the wall of the room where the Conspicuous Book is found, there is a bookshelf. When players interact with it, a menu will pop up indicating that an item can be put there. If players put the Conspicuous Book onto the bookshelf, the bookshelf will move and reveal the entrance to another room.
Inside this room are several chests containing Night Shards and a handful of rare gems. Not only that but there is a crafting station in this room. It is unclear if there is a reason for the crafting station being inside the castle, but if Disney Dreamlight Valley players happen to need another spot where they can craft, they can use this room for that purpose.
Can the Chests Be Upgraded?
With several chests in both rooms, players may think they can use them to store items. Unfortunately, these chests can’t be used for storage as they have very limited inventory space. For example, the chest that contains 10 Night Shards only has one slot, while the chest that contained gems has only four slots. Even the default chest players have in their house has more storage space than that.
Unlike that chest, the ones in the secret room cannot be upgraded. Since Disney Dreamlight Valley is still in Early Access, it is entirely possible that these two rooms will have another purpose in future updates, but for now, they are just a small secret for players to discover.
