How To Complete The Shine A Light Quest Guide In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the Shine a Light Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must craft three Sunlit Torches and place them in the Mystical Cave. First, speak with Mother Gothel to trigger the Quest. She says that the Sun’s Scroll doesn’t actually point to the Sunstone location but merely points to the next clue, which can be found inside the cave.
Therefore, players need to create three Sunlit Torches for each stand and collect three Gems that represent the three times of day; dawn, midday, and sunset.
Here’s a complete list of all necessary materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley to craft the required items for Shine a Light Quest;
Softwood x45: Can be found everywhere except for Dazzle Beach. Fiber x60: Can be made at the Crafting Station using Seaweed. The latter is found in any Biome by fishing an empty spot. Magic Sap x3: Given by Mother Gothel at the start of the Quest. Garnets x3: Mined from Peaceful Meadow and Plaza. Aquamarines x3: Mined from Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor. Citrines x3: Mined from Sunlit Plateau and Glade of Trust.
Next, head to a Crafting Station and create the three Sunlit Torches then speak with Mother Gothel. She will ask players to place the torches inside the Mystical Cave along with the Gems.
How To Reach The Mystical Cave In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To reach the Mystical cave, Dreamers must travel to Dazzle Beach and search for the greenery behind the Wishing Well to find the cave’s entrance. The latter can be unlocked by completing the With Great Power Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Once inside, head to the lowest level and place the three torches on their corresponding spots.
After a few seconds, the monument will glow and players have to take a picture. Any pose or angle is fine as long as the Sunlit Torches and monument appear in the image. Finally, return to Mother Gothel who thanks Dreamers and asks them to give her some time to decipher the photo. This will mark the end of Shine a Light Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
