One day after the State Department and North Korean Foreign Ministry confirmed they would resume working-level negotiations over the weekend, reports emerged Tuesday of a new missile launch off the east coast near Wonsan Bay. Exceeding previous launches in recent months, it flew an estimated 280 miles, reaching a maximum altitude of 565 miles, before falling in Japan’s exclusive economic zone. South Korean and Japanese authorities quickly suspected it was an SLBM, the test first of its kind since August 2016 and the latest to fly further than short-range weaponry since November 2017....

Now, in celebration of the original anime’s twentieth anniversary the first Digimon anime series, Digimon Adventure, is getting a new reboot. The series is set to be animated by Toei Animation, who co-animated the latest Digimon movie, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, with Studio Deen. Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition, a rerelease of sorts of the game from 2015, packs in the base game with Hacker’s Story, an extra expansion set during the events of the main story. Ray-tracing may make a big difference in titles where light and shadow play a big part in setting the mood, such as Cyberpunk 2077 and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Games which have a lot of reflective surfaces in its scenes will also benefit from ray-tracing, since the whole point of a reflective surface is that it takes on the color of whatever light is shining directly at it. Without ray-tracing, mirrors in games would never work....
